Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Physics (Tensor Networks and Quantum Field Theory) at Ghent University in Belgium. International students are eligible to apply for this position.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

• Applicants should have a Ph.D. in theoretical or computational physics.


• The ideal candidate should have good analytical and numerical skills and be highly motivated.


• Previous experience with tensor networks in the context of quantum many-body systems is not mandatory but very welcome, as is any other experience relevant to the topics of this project (quantum entanglement, field theories, holography, …).
