One position as PhD candidate is available for a period of 3 years in the field of neuroscience/neuroplasticity at the Laboratory of Neural Development and Optical Recording (NDEVOR) at the University of Oslo, Faculty of Medicine, under the supervision of Professor Joel Glover. Norwegian and foreign applicants can apply for this fellowship.
The objective of the fellowship is research training leading to the successful completion of a doctoral degree.

Applicants must have MA degree equivalent to a Norwegian MA or an equivalent degree in advanced biology, with experience in laboratory work and either an existing background in neuroscience or a strong motivation to pursue research in neuroscience.
