MBA Scholarships at University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, 2017

The Faculty of Economics Ljubljana University (FELU) is offering scholarships to study two-year part-time MBA programme. Both Slovenian and international citizens who have at least three years of work experience are eligible to apply.

The Faculty of Economics Ljubljana University (FELU) is both a national leader and an internationally recognised academic and research institution in the fields of business and economics.

The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing MBA programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded within the Faculty of Economics.

Scholarship Award: Scholarship worth 4.000 € will be awarded.

Scholarship can be taken in the Republic of Slovenia

Eligibility: Candidates can apply for the scholarship even though their selection process is still in progress but no later than early bird application (30 September). Applicants must be from an eligible country and have at least three years of work experience. Applicants must display outstanding academic qualifications, leadership experience, international impact (academic and business) special honours and achievements. In addition, applicants should show an ambition to make a difference by working. Due to the limited number of places available in the MBA programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• At least three years of meaningful working experience (middle to top management);


• Proficiency in English;


• Successfully finished undergraduate education;


• Fulfil the online registration form;


• provide all the certificates which show that the above-mentioned criteria have been fulfilled;


• Display outstanding academic qualifications, leadership experience, international impact;


• Write a short motivation letter; and


• Successfully undertake an in-depth interview.

Nationality: Slovenian and international students can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: FELU MBA participant must:

• 35 year‘s old (average)


• Holds middle to senior management position


• Education background: (1) economic, (2) technical, (3) natural sciences, (4) social


• Motivated, extraverted, goal oriented, social, responsible

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.
