IoPPN Dean’s Master Scholarships for UK/EU and International Students in UK, 2017-2018 is open for International Students . The scholarship allows Masters level programm(s) in the field of Neuroscience, Psychology taught at Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience . The deadline of the scholarship is .

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) is offering a number of bursaries and scholarships to support students with the financial commitments of postgraduate study. These awards are open to UK/EU and International applicants.

The objective of King’s College London is to manage the student life cycle from application to graduation to ensure a coherent and seamless student experience and effective administrative process.

The IoPPN is ranked 2nd in the world for psychiatry and Psychology (US News, Best Global Universities), and we are the largest centre in Europe for research in this area, offering a broad range of masters courses, taught by world-leading academics and clinicians, and housed in world-class facilities.

If applicants’ first language is not English they must be able to provide recent evidence that your spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programmes for which they have applied.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue MSc programme.

Available Subject: Students must have applied to one of the following full-time MSc programmes at King’s College London, and be due to commence their programme in September 2017:

  • Health Psychology

  • International Programme in Addiction Studies

  • Organisational Psychiatry & Psychology

  • Psychiatric Research

  • War & Psychiatry


Scholarship Benefits: 12 scholarships will be awarded.

Number of Scholarships: Value of the scholarship:

  • 10 scholarships at a value of £1,000 each

  • 2 scholarships at a value of £5,000 each

  • Fulfil the relevant academic and English proficiency entry requirements for the MSc programme, set by King’s College London.

  • As the award provides partial funding only, applicants must be able to confirm that they have/are seeking the means to support any outstanding fees/costs not covered by this scheme i.e. through other funding awards or self-funding.

  • You must not already hold an MSc or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Students who already hold a master’s degree or higher are not eligible for this funding but students who have undertaken prior postgraduate studies such as PG Diplomas or PG Certificates or clinical/medical qualifications are eligible.


Nationality: These awards are open to UK/EU and International applicants.

Entrance Requirements: Students must not already hold an MSc or equivalent postgraduate qualification.

English language Requirements: Applicants must fulfill the relevant academic and English proficiency entry requirements for the MSc programme, set by King’s College London.

How to Apply: You must submit an online admissions application for one of the above MSc programmes. Once you have applied for your chosen MSc programme, you will automatically be entered into the competition process.

You must ensure that your application is ‘complete’ in order to be considered for funding. To be deemed ‘complete’, it must contain all the relevant supporting documentation required by the Faculty applied to, such as references, transcripts, and English language scores.

Deposits are not required until a decision has been made on the scholarships. If you have already paid your deposit, you will still be considered for a scholarship.
