Australia Awards – Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship and Endeavour Research Fellowship
The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia.
Australia is home to leading international universities that produce cutting edge research in fields such as climate change, energy, environmental sciences, public health, and indigenous studies.
Funded by the Australian government this award will enable you to undertake part of your postgraduate or postdoctoral research in Australia.
Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarships provide financial support (up to AUS $118,500 for Masters and AUS $228,500 for PhD) for high achieving American students to undertake a postgraduate qualification by coursework or research in any field of study in Australia.
The Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship enables recipients to build an international professional career postgraduate study / research in Australia in addition to establishing links and institutional collaborations while in the country.
Endeavour Research Fellowships provide up to AUS $23,500 for North American postgraduate research students and postdoctoral researchers to undertake 4-6 months of research in Australia.
The Endeavour Research fellowship Award enables recipients to undertake comparative or collaborative research in Australia as part of their current postgraduate or postdoctoral research program. It also assists recipients build international professional links and institutional collaborations.
Candidates must be US citizens who are college graduates. The award of these fellowships is based solely upon scholastic excellence, character, ability, and promise.
Note – Applicants must have applied for and gained admission to a Masters or PhD program in Australia. Conditional letters of offer will be accepted at the time of application. The Australian academic year starts in February / March and the majority of Australian postgraduate courses do not require entrance exams, such as the GRE or GMAT.
