University of Wollongong Dubai is offering postgraduate academic excellence scholarship for international students. Scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate programme.The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is one of the UAE’s oldest and most prestigious universities. All UOWD academic programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and quality assured by the University of Wollongong in Australia, which is registered with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), the national regulator of the higher education sector in Australia.Applicants for a postgraduate degree must have completed a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) at an accredited institution of higher education. All instruction at UOWD is carried out in English and student will need to demonstrate an adequate level of English language proficiency in order to enroll on a programme at the university.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:

• Applications are open to students of any citizenship.


• Applications are open to new (entry level) students only who will be undertaking full time study.


• Applicants must have achieved the minimum grades as listed by the university


• Applicants must meet all of the academic and admission criteria to be admitted to the university and be intending to enroll in the relevant session for which they have applied.

Eligible Nationalities: Scholarship is open to students of any nationality.

College Admission Requirement: Applicants for a postgraduate degree must have completed a bachelor degree (or equivalent) at an accredited institution of higher education and have achieved the minimum grades, as well as any specific course-related requirements.

English Language Requirement: All instruction at UOWD is carried out in English and student will need to demonstrate an adequate level of English language proficiency in order to enroll on a programme at the university.

Supporting Material: Please submit certified copies of academic records and evidence of completion of all qualifications, including English language test results. Documents not in English must be officially translated. The following documents must be submitted with your application. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will delay the assessment of your application.

Scholarship Benefit: Scholarship covers 15% to 25% of tuition fees each semester. The scholarship does not include textbooks, excursions, accommodation, living expenses or any other costs involved in undertaking study.

Application Procedure: If students would like to apply for any of the UOWD scholarships, they should submit an application for scholarship form, along with supporting documentation relevant to their chosen scholarship (academic transcripts, completion certificate(s), awards, referee reports, alumni ID, as appropriate) to the Registrar’s Department. Applications must be received by the closing date for current students and submitted via the scholarship form.
