Scholarship Description: The Abertay University is offering Academic Global Excellence Awards for international students. These awards are open to full-time students for pursuing the undergraduate programme.

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

About University: Abertay University, operating name for the University of Abertay Dundee since 2014, is one of two public universities in the city of Dundee, Scotland. The other is the University of Dundee.

Degree Level: Awards are available for pursuing the undergraduate programme.

Available Subject: Awards are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Benefits: Award of £2,500 per annum for 4 years of the undergraduate degree, paid in equal payments in January and April for a maximum of 4 years.

Eligibility: To be eligible you must meet all of the following conditions:

• Have been classified as International (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University


• Have registered with Abertay University as a full-time student for your first undergraduate degree. Applicants who already hold a UK undergraduate degree are not eligible.


• Have met all the academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a full-time student in September 2018


• And have obtained the equivalent of ABB at UK A-Level or above (International Baccalaureate 36, Indian Higher School (12th) 85%, Chinese High School Diploma 90%, Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Pass at 4333 with 4 core subjects with 3 elective subjects at 443, or US High School Diploma of 3.2 and either SAT (i) 1250, or ACT Composite 29, or three AP tests at grade 444, or SAT Subject (ii) two tests at 600 and one at 650.).

Eligible Nationalities: Scholarships are open to international students.

Application Procedure: Students do not need to complete an application form. If students meet all the eligibility criteria they will be notified in late August 2018 that they will receive the Abertay Academic Global Excellence Award.
