COMMONWEALTH GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2012
The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC Division) has assigned the task of conducting the Local GRE-General test for Higher Studies to the National Testing Services (NTS). Applications are invited for studying abroad under the Commonwealth General Scholarships Program for the year 2012. Scholarships are Fully Funded and final selection will be made by the donor country. Scholarships are expected to be offered by U.K, Canada, Brunei, New Zealand and Malaysia.

Instruction
- The CommonWealth scholarship commission U.K has offered scholarships in any of the following categories
- One year taught masters course or equivalent degrees.
- Six months of clinical training in medicine or dentistry.
- Doctoral degrees of up to three years duration. The candidates who wish to undertake extensive periods of fieldwork in home country.
- One year research on a split-site basis, towards a Ph.D registered at a university in pakistan.
Following Degree Holders Can Apply:
- A candidate must hold a Masters Degree/ B.Sc Honors (4 years), from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
- Students awaiting result are not eligible to apply.
- Please attach your complete academic credentials with filled Application Form to apply.
For applying to Common Wealth Scholarship we need to take local GRE conducted by NTS, but do we need to apply in particular universities before that as well or not?

@RKC: No, we do not need to apply in any universities, the nominating agency from each country will be proposing the nominated candidates…after the test.
by the way, do you have any information on what this Local GRE is going to be like? Im sitting in this year’s test and i absolutely have no idea of a local GRE.

@ SS: Its just like GAT general test which includes Analytical, Math and English section.

AOA… anybody out there who would have any info of the proceedings/development further in this case after the test result?? i scored 75/100, till this point i know, after this result announcement i have no idea wats going on.. kindly if anybdy could keep my heart and tell me tat ALL IS WELL…. Is 75 a good score or an average score?? thanks in anticipation…

I need to know what is the next step after the result announcement of the Local GRE. NTS website did not have any info about it.
So if someone has any idea about it kindly do let me know.

Farukh 75 is a great score to be honest. so i’m sure you have high chances of being selected. although still no news from nts or IPC. and has anyone received the test score at home address in hard copy or just seen it on the website? i have 67 score but so far, i havent received mine at home in the form of a result card as nts normally does it pretty quickly.

and its January now and i haven’t received any result card from NTS….neither anything is mentioned on NTS website…..

i just appeared for GAT general(GAT-2012-III) and that score still stands valid, can i use this while applying for common wealth scholarship or i’ll have to reappear on announced dates.
